Article 5.2 Host Country Laws Applicable within ICT

(a) General Rule:

Only those Host Country laws expressly referenced in Article 5 of the ICT Establishment Law shall apply within the ICT. In relation to the ICT, this comprises the following Host Country Laws:

(i) Constitution

(ii) National security, defence, and intelligence laws;
(iii) Foreign policy and diplomatic relations laws;
(iv) Intellectual Property laws such as those governing trademark registrations, patent applications, and copyright;
(v) Immigration and citizenship laws, to the extent not expressly displaced by the ICT Code Chapter on Immigration;
(vi) Anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, and national financial regulations, where not otherwise addressed in the ICT Code; and
(vii) Criminal codes or penal statutes applicable to residents or criminal conduct which shall be deemed as the “Host Country Criminal Code”, unless expressly displaced by the ICT Establishment Law and/or ICT Contractual Arrangements.]
