Termination and Enforcement

  • Resident may terminate at any time without cause (certain limited circumstances for refund are defined – for example, in relation to an “Exceptional Event” where potential supplemental legislation may be issued in pre-defined parameters).
  • Operator may terminate for:

    • Any reason during a 12-month Trial Period (with notice), or
    • Defined Major Breach (e.g., repeated non-payment, criminal acts).
    • Graduated penalties for Minor Breaches (warnings, fines, temporary restrictions).
  • Post-termination, Resident must vacate BEC; Operator may enforce expulsion. Resident able to maintain his or her property/company but shall not be permitted to physically reside in BEC if Residency is terminated. Temporary visitor rights may be permissible depending on nature of termination.
