Article 2.7.9 Supplementary Instruments

Where ambiguity exists or alignment with public interest is required:

(i) The Operator may issue non-binding guidance notes clarifying recognition of international credentials, application of sectoral rules, or administrative processes.

(ii) The Operator may issue formal eligibility rulings, which may include reasonable conditions such as local supervision, insurance, CPD requirements, or limited scope permissions.

(iii) The Operator may issue model rules, templates, or charter documents for use by regulated professionals and accreditation bodies.

1. Supplementary instruments shall not override this ICT Code. In case of conflict, this ICT Code shall prevail. Supplementary instruments may be incorporated by reference into formal processes only where adequate notice and access is given.

Unless expressly stated to be binding under this ICT Code or issued under a power conferred by this ICT Code, a supplementary instrument shall be interpretive, procedural, technical, or facilitative in nature and shall not override, contradict, or amend this ICT Code.
