Article 3.47 Immigration and Residency

(a) (1) Each person wanting to reside in the ICT shall apply for a resident status with the Administration and, if admitted, shall sign a Residency Agreement.

(b) (2) The format of the admission procedure and the decision about the admission lies solely at the discretion of the Operator and is not subject to legal challenge.

(c) (3) Residing without a Residency Agreement is an aAdministrative oOffence and can additionally be sanctioned with a life-long ban on entering one or more ICTs. This does not apply to visitors for a stay of up to 14 days.

(d) (4) The Administration may issue different types of residence permits, including some that may or may not require a variant of the standard Residency Agreement, for persons not wishing to acquire full-resident status, like long-term visitors, commuters and others.

(e) (5) By entering an ICT, each person is bound by the rules of this code.
