Article 6.21 Limitation of Time for Trials in Certain Cases

(a) (1) Except where a longer time is specially allowed by ICT law, no offence the maximum punishment for which does not exceed imprisonment for 30 days and / or a fine of 25 currency units shall be triable unless the charge relating to it is made within 24 months from the time when the matter of such charge arose.

(b) (2) There is no time limit in respect of an offence the maximum punishment for which exceeds imprisonment for 30 days and / or a fine of 25 currency units.
