Article 6.24 No Double Jeopardy

(a) (1) A person who has been once tried by a court of the ICT for an offence and has been convicted or acquitted shall, while such conviction or acquittal has not been reversed or set aside, not be liable to be tried again by a court of the ICT on the same facts for the same offence, or for any other offence of which they could have been convicted at the previous trial, unless the prior criminal proceeding was dismissed due to lack of jurisdiction or instituted with the primary purpose of establishing a defence of prior prosecution.
