Article 2.9.7 Automatic Stay

(a) Scope of Stay: Upon filing a Petition under this Chapter 2.9, an automatic stay applies to all entities, prohibiting:

(i) Starting or continuing actions against the Debtor or to recover pre-Petition Claims;

(ii) Enforcing pre-Petition judgments against the Debtor or Bankruptcy Estate property;

(iii) Acts to possess or control Bankruptcy Estate property;

(iv) Creating, perfecting, or enforcing liens on Bankruptcy Estate property;

(v) Enforcing pre-Petition liens against Debtor property;

(vi) Collecting pre-Petition Claims;

(vii) Setting off pre-Petition debts against Claims.

(b) Exceptions: The stay does not apply to criminal actions against the Debtor; or civil actions for establishing paternity, setting or modifying domestic support obligations, child custody or visitation, marriage dissolution, except for marital property division.
