Article 3.29 City Security Measures

Within the limits set by law, particularly the principle of proportionality, City Security shall take measures they deem necessary in the exercise of their duties.

These include questioning and admonishing persons, and verifying identity or residency authorization in the ICT, as well as identification procedures and searches of suspicious persons.

The use of direct force, detention of persons, entry and search of residences, collecting personal data and the seizure and confiscation of items may only occur under the specific conditions described in §§ 30 et seq.
