Article 4.13 Judges
(a) (1) Judges of the IC Court shall be appointed solely on the basis of professional qualification, experience, integrity, independence, and judicial competence.
(b) (2) Nationality, religion, ethnicity, gender, or any other personal characteristic shall neither constitute a requirement nor a disqualification for appointment.
(c) (3) Judges may be appointed as full-time, part-time, acting, or ad hoc judges.
(d) (4) Judges may be drawn from the Host Country or from other jurisdictions and may serve concurrently on courts of other International Cities.
(e) (5) Judges shall enjoy status, standing, privileges, immunities, tenure, and protections at least equivalent to those of judges of other courts of the Host Country.
(f) (6) No judge of the IC Court shall be liable in civil proceedings for any act or omission done in good faith in the exercise of judicial functions.
(g) (7) Judges shall not be removed except for incapacity or serious misconduct and only by procedures consistent with judicial independence and as provided in Hhost Ccountry legislation and the Concession Agreement.
