Article 6.32 The Registrar and the Registry
(a) 6.32.1 The ICT must ensure that a Registrar or acting Registrar is appointed at all times and is provided with sufficient funds to perform their functions.
(b) 6.32.2 The Register must:
(A) establish, manage and supervise the registry; and
(B) perform such functions for the management of cases as may be conferred on the Registrar by any ICT law or practice directions, except that the Registrar must not conduct trials, make determinations as to convictions or decide sentences.
(c) 6.32.3 The registry must:
(C) be open for business between 9 am and 5 pm in the ICT on Business Days;
(D) receive, record and store (physically or electronically) documents that may be filed with the court or the registry; and
(E) perform such functions for the business of the court as may be conferred on the registry by practice directions.
