Rights of the Resident (Personal Freedoms)

• Freedom of movement within the ICT.
• Freedom of thought, conscience, and religion (provided that Residents do not interfere with Host Nation politics).
• Freedom of expression, subject to applicable laws and the obligation of non-interference in Host Nation political matters.
• Freedom from unreasonable surveillance, interception, search, or seizure of person, personal effects, or property.
• Right to property and peaceful enjoyment thereof.
• Freedom to contract and engage in lawful activities.
• Right to self-defence and access to emergency assistance.
• Right to life and physical integrity, including protection from harm by the Operator.
